Clitoris Bolo
Clitoris Bolo
Anatomically correct clitoris bolo tie.
Original design sculpted by hand, depicting the complete internal structure of the clitoris. Cast in small batches by woman-owned jewelry studio Heliotrope in Tucson, Arizona. Available in brass (gold tone, $72), or sterling silver ($99).
Leather cord is 3mm thick, machine braided, available in black or tan.
At checkout, please choose the desired cord length:
36": Recommended for people under 6' tall.
42": Recommended for people 6' tall or taller.
Clitoris measures 1.2” tall x .85” wide.
Also available as a necklace or earrings.
I created this piece in 2017 in collaboration with Jellywink Boutique a woman-owned, inclusive sex shop here in Tucson. I’ve loved this piece for being pro-pleasure and conversation starter, meant to increase visibility and decrease shame. Also, a clit bolo tie? I couldn’t resist.
I was amazed earlier this year when I was approached by the publisher of Ashley Herring Blake’s new YA sapphic romance Astrid Parker Doesn’t Fail, and told that a necklace very similar to my design features prominently in the novel!
It’s encouraging to see pleasure––especially of people with clits––more widely celebrated and discussed!
I hope this design can mean something special to you too.
