Who said high-quality, handmade jewelry can’t also be fun!? The Heliotrope Heart-Eyes Horse is both unique and smile-inspiring, fine art and wearable day-to-day.

Artist Spring Winders says:
“Honestly, it started as something I did just to make myself laugh. I was in the studio after a long day and remembered these heart-shaped stones that I’d held onto for the longest time. They fit just too perfectly! I took a quick picture and texted it to a couple people – they both replied WANT!

It felt a little out of my comfort zone to make a piece that might be considered funny, but it really brightens peoples’ day – so why wouldn’t I make it? Maybe it’s a reminder to have fun when we can, and to not take ourselves too seriously.”

This bold, limited-run piece will inspire smiles and might just cause heart eyes from those you encounter while wearing it.

Hearts are vintage rainbow colored glass (mostly dynamic pink and green, like watermelon candy), set in sterling silver bezel cups. Horse is solid white bronze (silver-toned). Bolo tips are silver-plated base metal. Machine braided black leather cord.

Based on the highly detailed Heliotrope Horse Bolo:

The Heliotrope Horse Bolo Tie is the definitive take on the Western classic. Drawing on her training as a printmaker, artist Spring Winders carved this piece from hard wax, bringing incredible detail and lifelike essence to this beloved and most-requested animal.

While you can come across other equestrian bolo ties online, cheap factory-made bolos pale in comparison. This a hefty, handcrafted art piece that ties together an outfit, centered under a collar or even resting on skin. Compliments ensue.

Solid metal. Cast in small batches in the Heliotrope studio in Barrio Viejo, Tucson, Arizona.

Horse head measures 2” tall by 1.9” wide.

Please read our reviews! there's a lot of cheap junk out there being sold online as jewelry (especially bolo ties). But those who have held Spring's art in their hands know: Heliotrope is the real deal, and her pieces are true heirlooms-in-the-making. You won't be disappointed.
