Mesa Ring

$50.00

The Heliotrope Mesa Ring: true geologic jewelry. Inspired by artist Spring Winders’ upbringing in rural northeastern Arizona and visits to her grandmother in northern New Mexico.

“Some of my early memories are of scrambling along the warm layers of sandstone, the bright sun, the smell of juniper smoke and piñon sap,” Spring says, and holding this art piece it is clear she has imbued this ring with that lived experience.

Hand-carved from hard wax, the Mesa Ring is cast in Solid Sterling Silver in small batches in the Heliotrope studio in Barrio Viejo, Tucson, Arizona.

A wearable reminder to stay grounded with every movement of the hand, this is the piece for true lovers of the land.

This listing is for ONE ring, but thanks to the thin band these Mesas can also be stacked two or three deep for a stronger statement (see photos), creating a layered horizon effect.
